Snapchat Now Allows You to Share Stories Outside the App

The feature will exist available for Snapchat users on both iOS and Android.

The new feature allows users to hold down on a tile on whatsoever public Story and share it with anyone via a text, email, or even through other social media platforms. Still, the feature will exist limited to 'Public Stories', which includes Stories created by Snapchat'south verified users, Stories featured in the curated Our Stories section, and Stories discovered through search. With the new characteristic, Snap Inc. aims to extend Snapchat's content to other platforms in a bid to concenter more users to the app.

Here's how you can share Stories outside of Snapchat:

Press and hold on the Story tile in Notice to bring up the mini-profile
A new 'share' pick will announced alongside the 'subscribe' choice
Choose 'Share Story' and then select how yous'd like to share the link to that Story exterior of Snapchat (including text, email, WhatsApp, etc.)

Recipients of the shared link will exist able to view the Stories on the new Story player on Snapchat.com. The shared Stories will also have a expiry appointment depending on the source of the Story.
